Definitions
a) “Association” means the Customer Association or Shareholder through which a Participant, Subscriber, or User receives and/or purchases Triad MLS service.
b) “Customer Association” means a local association or board of REALTORS® that subscribes to the Service but is not a Shareholder.
c) “Nonmember Participant” means any Participant who is not a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.
d) “Participant” means any principal, partner, corporate officer, or branch office manager acting on behalf of a principal who has executed the service’s participant/subscriber agreement, and who satisfies all obligations of participant set forth in the participant/subscriber agreement, in these rules, and MLS bylaws (see Article IV of the Triad Multiple Listing Service, Inc. Bylaws).
e) “REALTOR® Participant” means any Participant who is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®.
f) “Service” or “MLS” means Triad Multiple Listing Service, Inc.
g) “Shareholder” means Greensboro Regional REALTORS® Association, Inc., High Point Regional Association of REALTORS®, Inc., or Winston-Salem Regional Association of REALTORS®, Inc., collectively referred to as the “Shareholders”.
h) “Subscriber” means each non-principal broker, sales licensee, and licensed or certified real estate appraiser affiliated with a participant and entitled to access to the service, subject to the requirement to comply with all Service rules and to pay all applicable fees.
i) “User” means any person with credentials to log in to the Service’s systems, including Subscribers, unlicensed assistants, brokerage and appraisal administrative, and accounting staff, etc.
